Follow me through Death’s Doors as I undergo past-life regression therapy, trace my soul’s journey through its incarnations, record the process via blog, and write the memoir of my Immortal Soul.
As long as you are not aware of the continual law of Die and Be Again, you are merely a vague guest on a dark Earth. – Goethe
Long Story Short
I’m writing a soul memoir – imagine a memoir in an echo chamber – derived from the kaleidoscopic experiences of my present life and those of my past lives, from the karmic perspective of the immortal soul that has woven this tapestry of earthly embodiments. Your contribution to this, my life’s work, will garner my eternal appreciation, a collaborative role in the process, and other perks depending on your level of contribution.
The Whole Story
Hasn’t it occurred to you – that this cannot be the end, that there is much more to the Grand Scheme than this life alone? The human mind, spirit, and consciousness are simply too extraordinary. How exhilarating would it be to discover your Soul’s connection to All That Is, unravel your karmic thread, understand your life’s purpose?
Death’s Doors: The Legend of an Immortal Soul is a memoir illustrating one Soul’s journey from life to life, death to death, portal to portal – an artistic exploration of the tapestry of earthly embodiments woven together by the karmic thread of a solitary Soul, of which I am the present incarnation – the mortal being through whom this Immortal Soul has chosen to tell its story. Death’s Doors will comprise my Soul’s swan song, destined as it is to complete its earthly incarnations and return to the Spiritual Realm upon my physical death.
While undergoing chakra therapy some time ago, I experienced a memory that was not my own. It was a memory in every sense, save for the fact that it had not occurred in my lifetime. When subsequently the healer interpreted my natal chart – for she is also a notable astrologer – she revealed that mine is a soul in its final human incarnation, due to spiral out upon my mortal death and return to the Spiritual Realm, and that my life was therefore inscribed with Divine Purpose. I knew at that moment that I had damned well better fulfill my destiny. After years of spiritual endeavor and soul searching, the epiphany finally came: I would unearth and write the legend of my Soul.
Skeptical? Then what are we to make of the fact that the majority of the world and its belief systems accept reincarnation as a given? That Albert Einstein, Ben Franklin, Thomas Edison, Henry Ford, and many more believed in reincarnation and numerous revered scientists have conducted longtime studies and published books addressing the existence of the Eternal Soul?
Or perhaps you haven’t heard the tales. My favorite is the woman whose heart stopped during major surgery and subsequently described every moment of the event as the surgical team struggled to revive her – right down to the conversation of the surgeons and nurses, the writing on the surgery schedule in the outside hall, the layout of the operating room, hairstyle of the scrub nurse, the fact that the anesthesiologist was wearing unmatched socks…. Though anesthetized and unconscious (and without a heartbeat), she knew. Incredible in itself. But what made her recollection even more remarkable – what solidifies the idea that human consciousness transcends space, time, and the physical – was the fact that she had been blind from birth. (See Larry Dossey, M.D.’s Recovering the Soul.) Or the multiple studies of young children describing vivid details of their past lives, of which they could have no possible knowledge, which have been verified time and again by fact checking and historians.
What about your own personal experience? That inexplicable connection with a stranger, whom you feel you have somehow known all your life. Or that moment of déjà vu – nearly everyone has had it – when an eerie recognition pervades your mind, body, and senses. Perhaps you’re on holiday in Italy, the ancient Venetian cobblestone porous beneath your feet, and suddenly … you’re awash with familiarity. You have been here before. On this very street. No, not in this lifetime, but nonetheless…. Your skin tingles, gravity shifts, and you feel as though you’ve transcended time and space and are standing in a doorway between two worlds, two lives…. Indeed, you are.
What made me a firm believer in reincarnation and past-life regression therapy was reading Many Lives, Many Masters by Brian Weiss, M.D., a revered psychiatrist who graduated Phi Beta Kappa, magna cum laude, from Columbia University and Yale Medical School. When traditional methods of analysis failed to help his patient Catherine, Dr. Weiss finally employed hypnosis, which, as he described, “is an excellent tool to help a patient remember long-forgotten incidents. There is nothing mysterious about it. It is just a state of focused concentration. Under the instruction of a trained hypnotist, the patient’s body relaxes, causing the memory to sharpen … eliciting memories of long-forgotten traumas that were disrupting their lives.” To Dr. Weiss’ surprise, Catherine began recalling vivid past-life memories under hypnosis, and the events she described seemed to hold the key to her trauma, recurring nightmares, and anxiety attacks. Dr. Weiss remained skeptical, however, until Catherine began channeling messages containing personal revelations about his own family and chillingly accurate details about Dr. Weiss’ dead son. Ultimately, by using past-life regression therapy, Catherine was cured and Dr. Weiss’ career was forever transformed.
As Many Lives, Many Masters demonstrates, the topic of reincarnation and past-life regression has been explored with both popular success and therapeutic benefit. Yet, Death’s Doors will offer spiritual, psychological, and even unforeseen benefits for humanity, as it represents a uniquely innovative and adventurous approach to this compelling topic: never before has an artist chronicled the legend of her soul – mined the depths of her many past lives for meaning and purpose in her own – and shared the entire process, as it transpires, with a wide audience of supporters.
So you see, Death’s Doors, in myriad ways, fulfills my life’s – indeed, my Soul’s – destiny and divine purpose. Through past-life regression therapy, I will delve into the deep mysteries of human existence, unwind the karmic thread that has spun my Soul into this moment in time, and manifest my earthly destiny by writing its memoir. Death’s Doors will be an offering from the Beyond, a journey into the past, a vision of the future, and a gift of solace to enlighten Souls in the here and now who crave knowledge and insight into their earthly incarnations.
Contributors will be involved at every stage of the process. I will convey the experiences of my past-life regression therapy via blog, to which all contributors will have first access. Higher-level contributors will have the ability to interact with me firsthand via the blog regarding the therapeutic experience and how it is translating into the work. Rewards further increase and expand with contribution size, as will your good karma.
Take this journey with me as we transcend time and space, delve into the unknown, and rekindle the magic of life … after life. What could be more fulfilling than gaining a deeper understanding of why we chose to assume human form for another spin around the karmic cycle and share this grand, immortal adventure together?
The virtues we acquire, which develop slowly within us, are the invisible links that bind each one of our existences to the others – existences which the spirit alone remembers, for Matter has no memory for spiritual things. – Balzac

She is a spiritual being enjoying a physical experience and has been a devotee of astrology, yoga, the Law of Attraction, and the karmic enterprise for many years.
Past-Life Regression:
Susann Taylor Shier (www.soulmastery.net) will be my guide on this journey through my past lives and in discovering the legend of my soul. Susann’s comprehensive background in the healing arts and extensive work with the Akashic Records, Soul Mastery, and Intuitive Healing make her a highly esteemed practitioner who recently lectured at the 2012 Conscious Life Expo. She has authored three books on the subject of the Soul; conducts classes, workshops, and teleconferences nationwide; and I could not be more elated to have her by my side.
Editorial Talent:
Former colleague and trusted ally Alice Peck (www.alicepeckeditorial.com) will be my editor on Death’s Doors and will consult with me through all stages of the creative process. Having worked with authors whose work has been pressed by more than a dozen well-known publishing houses, Alice’s impressive background and good guidance will cement my own drive and commitment and help keep the production on track insofar as deadlines and creative magic are concerned. Alice has assisted me in identifying a reputable self-publisher, Amazon’s CreateSpace.
BUDGET & FUNDING
I am seeking $13,500 for this project, which will be used for past-life regression therapy ($4,000); editorial and consulting services ($4,000); book publishing, design, distribution, and marketing services ($3,000); rewards ($1,500); and processing fees for the project (~$1,000) – the bare minimum to cover expenses. Any additional monies will go toward video and editing equipment to further document the process, with the intention of posting video on the blogsite and the potential of creating a documentary. Should my entire funding goal not be met, I shall whittle expenses first from book publishing, design, distribution, and marketing services; and, if necessary, from the editing budget. Suffice to say the book will be written and self-published come hell or high water.
TIMELINE & REWARDS
I anticipate the timeline to be approximately 18 to 24 months. Be reminded, however, that you will be involved at every stage of the process. The blog will go live as soon as funds begin to roll in and I’ve begun regression therapy. All contributors will have first access and subscriber status to the blog.
Increased contributions beget increased benefits, such as having direct contact with me via the blog regarding the therapeutic process and how it is translating into the work, signed copies of the published book, inclusion in the special thanks section of the book, access to excerpts of tape- or video-recorded past-life therapy sessions, sneak peeks at selected portions of the book, live or cyber appearances, and a whole lot of good karma to carry with you throughout your current incarnation and into the next!
I will be eternally grateful for your contribution and look forward to taking this journey with my fellow souls. It promises to be a metamorphic, lives-changing ride – an experience to be shared with future generations and incarnations!
